Tips on creating a Faceless Marketing approach to your business.

1.Define Your Unique Voice:

Cultivate a distinct and authentic voice that sets your faceless brand apart. Share your values, perspectives, and personality through your content to connect with your audience on a deeper level.

Be yourself! Think of who you really want to talk to and help. Is it a past version of yourself? Maybe its you before you started your own journey? Channel this version of you and think of how you want to speak to her.

2. Consistent Branding Elements:

Establish a cohesive brand identity by maintaining consistency in visuals, colours, and messaging across all your online platforms. Consistency builds recognition and trust with your audience.

I would recommend choosing 2-3 fonts & colours that you will STICK TO. As you can see on my accounts & products, I stick to 3 colours and fonts, so that my audience will know which content/products are mine.

3.Engagement Strategies:

Actively engage with your audience by responding to comments, asking questions, and fostering a sense of community. Build relationships with your followers, creating a loyal and interactive community.

This part is so easy because I feel that I genuinely LOVE connecting with the people in this space! Everyone is so supportive and kind, so please don’t be afraid to reach out to anyone! I will always be here for you if you ever need help or just want to have a chat.

Remember that we all share the same passion and we have similar goals. We are like minded and its truly amazing to connect :)

4.Engage through Storytelling:

Share compelling stories related to your journey or the success stories of others in your community. Storytelling allows you to connect with your audience emotionally without relying on face-to-face interactions.

Do this regularly on your stories before you promote your products, and in your posts within your captions. People love to read stories and read about how people got to where they are!

Remember that YOU ARE INTERESTING!

5.Strategic Content Calendar:

Plan your content strategically with a well-thought-out content calendar. Ensure a consistent flow of valuable content that aligns with your brand and resonates with your target audience.

Having a content strategy will help you to maintain consistency and prevent you from burning out. While faceless marketing takes significantly less time, it is still going to take some work! Once you figure out what works for you (I would recommend trying for 1-3 reels per day), you will get into your own groove and it will be easy to stay consistent.

It would be a good idea to work out your content pillars, so that you will be able to easily think of content ideas or batch your content. You will want to create content that is either educational, entertaining, promotional or inspiring.

We will delve deeper into creating content in the next section.

6.Utilise Testimonials and Reviews:

Showcase testimonials and reviews from satisfied customers who have benefited from your products or services. This builds trust and credibility without needing personal testimonials.

7. Prioritise Email Marketing:

Build an email list and utilise email marketing to communicate directly with your audience. This allows you to share updates, exclusive content, and promotions while maintaining a faceless approach.

You can build an email list by offering a freebie.

8.Develop Faceless Marketing Resources:

Create resources and guides specifically tailored to faceless marketing. This could include strategies for creating engaging content, building an online presence, and monetising without revealing personal identities.

Creating faceless content

This is the fun part! I used to feel so stressed about creating content, but since switching to Faceless, I actually LOVE it now! It is so fun when its easier to do. I want to make it easier for you, so I will share with you my own process:

1.Ideation

First of all, you will want to create a new note on your phone or laptop, or buy a journal that you can write your ideas down in. I personally use the notes app on my iPhone, and I just write down any ideas I have in dot point format.

This way, whenever I need to post something, I can come to my list of ideas.

I would also recommend looking through Instagram within your niche, and finding inspiration from others within your niche who are succeeding. Look at the videos that are doing well and figure out what it is that is making it go well.

Is it their hook? The video they use? Their caption? Dissect each reel that you love and then take INSPIRATION (do NOT copy word for word - that is not cool) to create your own version! You may use the same hook but apply it to your own brand, change the wording or use a similar formation of the video to the sound.

2.Filming or Finding Aesthetic B-Roll Footage

Okay so you have a few options here! You can either:

  • Film your own B-Roll footage and use those videos to create your content,

  • Search for aesthetic photos on Pinterest and then edit them into a video in CapCut (this is a good option as you can ensure each photo matches your brand, I would recommend having each photo go for 1 second for a maximum of 7 seconds = 7 photos per reel)

  • MY FAV OPTION: download aesthetic stock videos from a subscription website! This is by far the easiest and least time consuming. Obviously you will need to pay for a subscription but in my opinion it is totally worth it for all the stress and time it saves you!

3. Leveraging Trending Sounds:

Stay attuned to trending sounds and music on social media platforms. Incorporate these sounds into your content to align with current trends and capture your audience's attention.

To find trending sounds, you will need to either check the sounds that others within your niche that you are following are using, or scroll through the Reels page and save the trending sounds that you come across there.

You will know if a sound is trending if it has a little upwards diagonal arrow next to the name of it. You can click on it to check how many uses it has as well!

My recommendation is to use trending sounds UNDER 5k uses so that your video has more of a chance of being up the top of the videos that are shown under the sound!

4.Crafting Captivating Hooks:

Master the art of crafting attention-grabbing hooks. Your opening moments should be intriguing and pique curiosity, encouraging viewers to stay engaged throughout your content.

You want your hooks to appeal to your target audience so that they will want to keep watching! If you need help with some ideas visit XXXX

5. Effective Calls to Action (CTA):

Conclude your content with clear and compelling calls to action. Direct your audience on the desired next steps, whether it's visiting your website, engaging with other content, or making a purchase.

You want to have one in your video to direct them to the caption, and then sprinkle a few more inside the caption (mostly at the start and at the end)

I normally direct my audience to read my caption, then I will have another hook as the first line.

After that, I will have another call to action which prompts them to follow me for more content and like or save the video.

Then, I provide my story and value, and at the end another call to action to either direct them to my freebie, one of my products, or again to follow for more!

Embrace these tips, infuse your creativity, and watch as your faceless brand resonates with your audience, leaving a lasting impact in the digital realm.

Share what you are doing on your other social media platforms, or with family and friends who can support you.

I promise, people DO want to know what you're up to! And if you’re nervous about not getting engagement, don’t be afraid to just ask. This can look like sending a message to a few trustworthy people that says, “Hey, would you just hit the like button or post a quick comment on any posts you see me post this week? I’m excited & nervous about this new biz, and could definitely use the support!”

Lastly, HAVE FUN! Be yourself. Be authentic. Be BOLD. And plan to celebrate in some way, no matter what!
